Assemblymember Chris Ward Issues Statement on the Passage of SCA 10

(SACRAMENTO,CA) – Assemblymember Chris Ward (D-San Diego) released the following statement in response to the Legislature passing SCA 10:

"Today, California took an important step toward preserving the right to choose in our constitution with SCA 10," said Assemblymember Chris Ward (D-San Diego). "The Supreme Court is actively working to roll back rights in this country, but California will continue to be a place where access to abortion remains safe and legal. Now, it's up to voters in November."
