Assemblymember Chris Ward's Statement on the Legislature's Budget Package

(SACRAMENTO, CA) – Assemblymember Chris Ward (D-San Diego) released the following statement in response to the Legislature passing its budget package:

"The budget passed by the Legislature today is a comprehensive and responsible framework, prioritizing housing, tax relief for working families and small businesses, expanding health care coverage, and infrastructure support while adding to our general reserves," said Assemblymember Chris Ward (D-San Diego). "I am especially thankful to see funding to expand and protect reproductive health in California. I look forward to our subsequent work with the Governor to ensure we finalize more budget detail that meets the interests for the most people."
