Gloria Hosts Third Webinar to Help Small Businesses Impacted by COVID-19 Access Assistance
200+ Small Business Owners Participate in Small Business Relief Webinar Hosted by Assemblymember Gloria, SBDC
SAN DIEGO, CA – Over 200 small businesses participated in an interactive webinar today hosted by California State Assemblymember Todd Gloria (D-San Diego) and the San Diego and Imperial Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to help small businesses access relief during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the third webinar Assemblymember Gloria has hosted to help small businesses access assistance.
“All levels of government have set up programs to provide some relief for small businesses during this time. The purpose of our webinar is to connect small business owners to these resources and help them access this relief,” said Assemblymember Todd Gloria. “So far, more than 800 from our small business community have participated in these webinars. This underscores the great need that continues to exist for this information and heightens my commitment to make sure it’s provided to our small business community.”
The near 60-minute online forum provided the latest information on local, state, and federal assistance available to small business owners during this time – specifically, the federal Economic Injury Disaster Loan and Paycheck Protection Program as well as micro-loans available through the State of California’s I-Bank.
Assebmlymember Gloria was joined by Danny Fitzgerald, associate director of the San Diego and Imperial Small Business Development Center Network, for today’s webinar.
