Assemblymember Gloria’s Speedy Transition from City Hall to State Capitol

(San Diego) – Newly sworn in Assemblymember Todd Gloria (D-San Diego) talked about his quick transition from the San Diego City Council to the State Assembly on the CW6 News in the Morning program with Lynda Martin. Assemblymember Gloria said his resignation from the city council became effective at Noon on Monday the 5th and his swearing in ceremony in Sacramento began at 12:01. “I’m delighted to do it,” he said. “I love public service and I love that I get to wake up every morning to try and make our community a better place.” Watch the entire interview in this Assembly Assets video.
